DAY FOURTEEN

You got some more random Japanese resource links and recommendations!

It's no secret that I need to update my page on Japanese... Here are some more resources I'll update with! I want to see if I can take the N1 this year or next year hahaha.... please pray for me.

伏字検索
Do you ever read something in Japanese censored with 〇 and wonder what the characters are referencing?! (Not talking about censored crude words here!) Well, now you don't have to be sad and confused! If you search with this website, you'll figure out what the word is supposed to be! :D I had no idea wtf ジャ〇ラ was, but this website helped me figure out that the characters in my manga were talking about Jamira from Ultraman!
Common Japanese Collocations by Kakuko Shoji
WTF is a "collocation"? It's a natural expression or combination of words that native speakers use. You know how in English we say "to take a shower"? That's an example of a collocation. It sounds completely natural to us, but ESL speakers maybe not intuitively like we do. Same thing with every language! I find this book veryyyy helpful for writing (which I SUCK at)
Ore Monogatari!!
This anime is relatively easy for listening ANDD it's popular + cute!
Fanfiction / "Novels" on Pixiv
Do NOT use DeepL if you're already a fanfic addict! Seriously! There's a whole new world of amazing, beautiful gems on here! I got addicted to a SK8 AU where the characters were idols! Look up words you don't know and enjoy reading wonderfully written works~! Also keep in mind the tagging system with the 腐 and 夢 tags if you're into that sort of thing and pairing orders. There's also a Pixiv tagging encyclopedia with English translations and explanations of popular tags. Also check out the beautiful doujins~~~
Drama CDs / Audio Dramas / Voice Dramas / related audio stuff
A lot of these are unsubbed, so you're forced to study! But seriously, I think these are very underrated especially if you love a certain seiyuu. I like the Ganbare! Nakamura-kun!! Drama CDs and the Koisuru Boukun ones. I've also very found of the Love Live! Radio Dramas and seiyuu radio shows. There's a lot on Bilibili. PLS check them out.
Aarin Fantasy
I already linked this, but yeah.
DJT MEGAGUIDE
Of course I had to link it! And also /djt/ in general IYKYK
Puni Puni Japan
This is more so nostalgia-fuel for me, but I loved these videos when I was younger.
