 You got a list of movies and shows I watched with my family so far as of writing (12/25/24) over the holiday!!

 Here are my thoughts on all of them! In random order too. Maybe this will help you find your next favorite holiday movie?!

MST3K 521 - Santa Claus

If you have a really dumb sense of humor like I do, you've probably a fan of MST3K! lol :D I watched this episode last year and watched it again because the riffs were hilarious... and the movie is terribly cheesy and dated. The scene with the kids all around the world, oh lord. We couldn't stop laughing at Santa's pleasure mouth, the whole scene with the rich kid and his the neglectful parents, and when the cast made that sound effect while they panned up Santa. This movie was so fucking weird. I am not convinced that anyone actually watched this for fun back in the day. Please watch this movie if you want to laugh at something weird and stupid this holiday season.

A Bad Moms Christmas

This has terrible reviews and wasn't objectively good but A Bad Moms Christmas has been a repeat watch with my family and friends for the last couple years now. We watched it with my grandma for the first time lol. I think it's pretty funny, but again, I have a dumb sense of humor. Don't watch if you don't want to see sex jokes around your family!!!

MST3K 903 - The Pumaman

Yes, another MST3K! While Santa Claus was just weird, this movie is TERRIBLE! Oh my god it's so bad. Even for the time. WHY did the Aztec guy just throw people out of windows to find Pumaman? Why was this movie extremely homoerotic at parts? WHY does Pumaman fly like that? The world will never know.

Hot Frosty

My best friend irl was visiting my folks and me. After we watched Bad Moms, she chose this very bad movie. It was so bad that she just randomly skipped through parts of the movie too?! It's about a snowman coming to life and becoming a man who melts at room temperature. All of the town in this movie wanted to bang Frosty. My mom loves watching Hallmark movies for fun and even she was kind of stunned...

Mob Psycho 100 II

I wanted to watch some anime that other people could enjoy, so me and my SO put on the second season of Mob Psycho. It was very well-received by my household! Not Christmas-y though.

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

I've actually never seen this movie before today. Apparently it's a modern classic! It was okay. I would rewatch, but I still very much prefer A Christmas Story... The dad kind of annoyed me to be honest!

The Ricky Gervais Show Season 1 Episode 12 - Noises

I was cracking up over Karl's worm bird dilemma and his story about the plant testifying so we showed my family. LOL. Of course you can watch the episode here for free.
