What's New? (6/29/25):

 I've been too cough lazy cough to outright study for the JLPT N1, but I've been CONSOOMING a lot of media lately to a least passively help with stress and comprehension! I'm going to make a list of more media that I enjoyed for those in the Japanese learning hobby haha. I've really enjoyed Hello Kitty Adventure!! I also want to check out Hundred Line Academy on Steam maybe since you can play with the OG Japanese text. I got Disney Plus legally for free as a credit card perk, so I watched a lot Disney stuff in Japanese as well (Kingdom Hearts made me but I'm also a cartoonaboo). Sometimes when I'm sad about spending money, I like to "find" famous manga online and pretend I'm adding to my cart and buying it! Consider doing that if you are bored and want to learn a new language. I've also enjoyed lots of Kingdom Hearts this year and Birth by Sleep destroyed my brain :D

 Speaking of Disney stuff, I also rewatched Elio in the movie theatre! My spoiler-free review is that it was pretty cute, but not the best with the story. Again without spoiling it, the writing is really on-the-nose with naming the character's issues. The humor is very along-the-lines of directly saying "you're sad and have issues!" to the character and audience. There's not a of subtly either. You can very very much predict the plot as soon as the first act is almost conplete. The animation and rendering effects are beautiful as expected. A lot people have issues with the "bean mouth" / "Cal-Arts" art style, but I can tolerate it pretty well. Maybe biased here because I'm an ex-Steven Universe fan. Elio was a cute watch for a summer day, but it's not a must see (especially as an adult). I would say it's a lower-tier Pixar movie. Maybe Pixar should move beyond the family-issues / therapy-esc storyline plots? I also keep confusing Pixar and Disney original movies lol. I'm going to check out Soul and Kpop Demon Hunters next! (EDIT: I watched Soul today, and it was incredibly good!! It gave that old Pixar classic movie feeling... and made me have a mini-existential crisis lol. Watch it!)

What's New? (1/14/25):

 Oh my god it's been so long since I've updated this main page...! November and December were really busy for me. I can't give away too many real life details, but I'm working on a big life milestone for myself! Two actually. I'm a little private about real life details about myself, so you make a resonable guess on what these milestones are hahaha... Good things, but very tiring to acheive. I've felt a little sluggish lately too recently, but I want to dive back into the NeoCities community and start making regular updates again, including cleaning out my inbox and responding to messages. I'm thankful for every view / comment / whatever my website gets; thank you very much. Even if it's hard for me to respond, I still want to be grateful and reciprocate the kindness others have given me. I just hate feeling gross and like I'm neglecting a thousand different little things all at once.

 So what is new? Well... during December I did an neglecting advent calendar! You can check out all of the little mini pages I made for it. I also updated my old art gallery with a new one for the new year. This way you can see my progress just for 2025 easier. I joined Do Art Daily, but I don't know how long I'll keep my streak for to be completely honest. P ainting with watercolors has been therapeutic for me lately. Cammy got some new clothes for Christmas, and I plan on taking more photos outdoors when the weather gets nicer. There's several pages I want to redo on this site too: my about page, my diary, this homepage, and many more. I'm trying to take it little by little. I made another fanlisting for Clear from DMMD. My Pixiv is fulled with more PreCure pictures which is nice haha. I also made a page for new years resolutions! Most of them are for Japanese, art, or being social... aside from the "serious" irl tasks I have to complete.

 Webmastering really does make me happy. I'm excited to go back to "picking" at making website progress every day instead of viewing it as a task to procrastinate at.

What's New? (11/2/24):

 Happy Halloween!!! I carved Karl Pumpkington as you guys can see in the picture above :D... For Halloween I watched a lot of horror movies included the Ju-on: the Grudge, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Saw 1 and Saw 2, Suicide Club, etc. None of them were really scary though. I don't get scared by horror movies, so that's to be expected honestly. But I really enjoy the spooky atmosphere! The weather is slowing down, and I'm becoming more mellowed out.

 I've been stressed out a little by by occupation and dealing with burnout. That's why I've been slower than usual on NeoCities lately, but I want to more active. I like being able to update pages with random thoughts instead of making out blogging to be another task I have to do, lol. I can't talk too much about my personal life (trying to keep a low-ish profile and all), but I'm also trying to acquire more skills that would be applicable to my professional life. Lots of life-related decisions. Procrastination is my mortal enemy.

 I gave in and made a Pixiv. I've looked at fanart and fics there forever, but it's nice to actually bookmark tags and fics now lol. I feel a little silly making one so late. I crossposted some BokuPuri / WanPuri stuff there and it got some views and bookmarks... which very much surprised me in a good way! You know that feeling when you're in a small fandom and people view your content? I'm a little more motivated to continue drawing. I'll try to draw Anthy from Revolutionary Girl Utena next! Also please read Pixiv fanfiction if you're trying to learn Japanese. I'm mostly indulging myself in LanReki SK8-related stuff because I'm a sucker for ultra-fluffiness. ❄🌺 ️

 I want to eventually get a camera for 1) my hikes / natural walks 2) muh doll. I'm researching DSLR cameras atm lol. Too many hobbies, but I think my doll would look really pretty in a natural environment. I could crochet her a little sweater and dress her up like all of the Yuru Camp girls. I've gotten a bit better at sewing too and am ready to try my hand at the sewing machine again.

 WanPuri has been INSANELY good recently. Particularly episodes 35 and 36. I ADORE absolutely everyone in the main cast. Dog duo. Bunny boys. Nyanderful PreCure. I will miss Komugi and her friends so much when they go next year. Even Meimei is hilarious.

 As always, I love my life and hobbies. Thanks everyone for bearing with me even through burnout.

What's New? (9/30/24):

 I'm finally ready to share MORE FANLISTINGS!! Hooray! Please take a look above if you would like to join! I still need to get the Enthusiast script working, but I can do that some weekend in the future (it's just directory issues). So happy and excited! Can't wait to try out more stuff with other domain too! I know they still look a little wonky too layout-wise... I will update and take care them. I'm just sticking with three fanlistings for now, but I will consider getting more! What fanlistings should I make next?!?!

 In other news, I am also working through a PDCA cycle to improve my art. Check out my art HERE! It's essentially when you analyze your art and continously improve after study and practice. The first piece didn't turn out the way I wanted to, but that's a-okay. I've been trying our more anime faces, so it's less wonky.

 I'm starting to touch N1 flashcard decks (YES I know it's a lot X_X)... I think that I was in a bit of a slump at points this summer because I felt aimless with goals. I'm going to start giving it my all again. Studying helped give me something structured to do, but sometimes I turn my fun time into a job lol.

 The world has felt crazy lately. Let's all reconnect and look at the good things again. I feel like my problems disappear against the vastness of the big blue sky.

What's New? (9/3/24):

 I'm BACK!! Finally!! I took a 2-3 week hiatus from NeoCities recently. Everything's fine; I've just been super duper busy from my occupation to my personal life. I'm finally back though. I updated my bookmarks page with more stuff. I've also made some fanlistings that I really really want to share, but am jussst holding off on ^^

 I feel like I have an obligation to apologize for to the people who I've been late getting back to. I have a serious issue with procrastination where I hold off on doing a task -> the task gets hyped-up in my head -> I procrastinate. I'm excited to explore Neocities / the small web again. It was fun doing the Juice-Bar Summer Contest here recently.

 Last month I have almost 100%'d Kingdom Hearts 1.5. I just need the Proud Mode achievement. I really liked the game and all of the content that went into it. Playing Re:Chain of Memories now... I want to get my money's worth for the Steam bundle AND to really really get into the franchise... So yes I'm trying to 100% that too. There isn't a lot of guides online, so I might get some random tips on a future Kingdom Hearts shrine. I have fanart I need to share and upload! It's weird because I never grew up particularly invested into Disney, but now I have a vested interest because I also don't want KH4 and other future games to suck. Hmmm.

 ANYWAYS, I hope everyone here has a wonderful and blessed fall! I'm noticing the weather get cooler here! Let's appreciate the outdoors and enjoy some comfy food together ♡ I'm also trying to regularly grind N1 vocab decks now, so wish me luck (rip)

What's New? (8/3/24):

 I ordered a Moomin puzzle recently. Here's the progress so far. It's the first puzzle I bought from Japan, and it came with paste, a tool to apply the paste, an order form for missing pieces and more. I'm not impressed with how loose the puzzle is though. I want to frame it, but I'm worried it will fall apart if we flip it. Oh well o.O

 Art Fight was really fun (profile here). I'm glad I participated, and I thank everyone who played along with me. I'm going to redo my OC page with everyone's work on it. Thank you.

 I'm working on making a major change in my life, and I'm coming closer to making another big decision. I know I'm being vague here. Change and growing older is scary.

What's New? (6/22/24):

 I'm joining Art Fight this year! Profile~ I am Team Seafoam because well, it's the prettier team! Also because a lot of my friends are on Stardust, and I would like to attack them xD This is my first time doing this, so I hope to have some fun. I'm going to have to redraw Angie, but that's not really a problem, is it? I decided that her moe point is thick eyebrows.

 Life is currently kind of chill right now. But I'm also fighting the urge to settle or stop working. It's hard to explain outside of real life terms. But I'm happy where I am. Everything seems to have a habit of working out it seems.

 I hope you all are having a wonderful summer. Stay safe and stay hydrated. I'm trying to pick up steam again in doll world, so having fun there too. IDK. I'll probably make an edit below here with some more updates.

 OH! I almost forgot. I made the best blondies ever. Link for main recipe here. I used this almost one-to-one except... 1) I added less sugar. A lot less. Reduce regular sugar to only 1/3 cup at most and brown sugar to ~80% of a cup. The reductions sound crazy, but it's so so so sweet still. Eat some batter to taste. 2) Consider using pizza flour. What? Yes. I used this. I had it on hand.... it makes the blondies so chewy! 3) I used potato starch since I don't have corn starch. I don't think this makes a difference. I also used fancy vanilla paste, but yeah, optional. The result.... the best blondies ever!!!

What's New? (5/28/24):

 I don't like to talk about very personal matters publically. I consider myself a somewhat private person. But sometimes I do get negatively influenced easily by things online. So I did the logical (in my opinion) thing last week and took a NeoCities / internet break. I feel so much better!

 I know everyone on here has a manifesto against social media. But one thing I think should be discussed more is the sheer amount of information and connection to others we have at all times. Specifically, I don't think it's normal or healthy for strangers to have a list of information or actions you take online, spanning years. You know? I think there's been some discussion on how younger kids are afraid to make mistakes or be wrong or be cringe because they don't want to be "cancelled". I don't know if that's the most accurate take on the matter, but I think it causes psychological damage to always have strangers judge your every action. Or look at stupid take you had 4 years ago. Or attempt to always be logically consistant so nobody can judge or attack you. I might rewrite my thoughts here to better articulate them, but TL;DR: take lots of breaks offline. Constant perception from others at all times all around the world can't be healthy in my opinion.

 The Japanese translation of Harry Potter is comfy. I bought the whole set of books from a seller on Ebay several years ago. Last year I got the entire set of Japanese translated Lord of the Rings books as well. I've been enjoying the weekend reading, playing with some pets, and relaxing. I've also made more art that I need to scan and upload in.

 I took a day trip somewhere and bought some photography for my walls. It was expensive, but I'm happy to look at it for, well, the rest of my life I guess. I also started watching Avatar for the first time (kinda). I LOVE IT! Sokka is so dumb and funny. Any other media recommendations? Because lord knows I don't have enough things to watch, play, or read. Hope you guys are enjoying the warmer weather and upcoming summer. Oh yeah, also I'm having computer troubles... but I'll try to reply to emails / messages. And add people to the webring! Love you all.
