- Characters who are shy, insecure, or have a complex. Embarassment.
- Characters who are monsters, animalistic, have an "imperfection" (secret or not).
- My default is admiring characters from a third-person perspective.
- I enjoy self-inserting, but I probably lean more fujoshi or "otome" (?) overall. It depends on the character, series, and my mood.
- I am not a hardcore shipper. I like to multiship and just have fun, you know?

Gen Asagiri | Doctor Stone | I really don't like Doctor Stone (pls don't get offended Doctor Stone fans). I think the plot is really terrible. I HATE Senku with a passion. Just like Shikamaru from Naruto, I really dislike snarky, know-it-all characters. However, Gen is far-and-away the best thing out of Doctor Stone. I wish I could rescue him and take him into a better series. He's really cute and funny. |

Astarion | Baldur's Gate 3 | Yeah, yeah, yeah, judge me all you want! I don't care! I was going to wait to talk about him until I completed another playthrough, so I'll keep this short. He's so hot and definitely my favorite BG3 character. My friends have kept teasing me, sending me memes saying he looks like the evil old guy from that one creepy CGI Barbie movie.... I don't like old men! But he is an elf and, well, spoilers, a vampire! So he is young and youthful physically. I don't like age gaps, so my insert character was an elf as well! It's too distressing to imagine having one die before the other in a relationship! |
Honorable mentions go to Yuzuru and Wataru from Enstars. I don't play gatcha games anymore, but I loved the fine unit. I also liked Professor Lupin from the Harry Potter books. Will talk about more video game boys (I'm thinking of a certain demon) soon...
