Loss of control, mind-body conflict, body-horror, loss of humanity, aliens, etc. Something I've been very interested in since I was a kid. And as an adult. The idea of someone's body (cute guy?) getting manipulated, trying and failing to control themselves...

Media Depictions of Disability

Direct, indirect, or metaphorical (imo) depicitions. Some of these may be considered outdated, inaccurate, or offensive [today], but these are depicitions that at least made an impact on me. I find it interesting how ideas towards disability have evolved over time. And how that is reflected in media.
