Need to read more books aimed at adults, watch / listen to stuff aimed at adults... everything. Also need to go back and grind Anki some. Want to learn more languages too. Just understanding words makes me so so happy.
I've loved anime since I was... well, hm. I've loved Pokemon since I was like 6 or 7. But I remember watching Lucky Star in like 480p quality back when all the episodes were on Youtube... Also remember going on "bad websites" as a sneaky little kid to watch the Animal Crossing movie back when I was obsessed with Wild World.
ANYWAYS, I love anime. I really do. I'm not sharing my MyAnimeList account publically lol, but I still have so many to watch. It's crazy, because I've seen so much and so little at the same time. I'll probably be an old lady and still watch anime.
I will watch whatever I find entertaining. Or whatever I want to. I like every genre except haram shows and shit Isekai (with some exceptions). I really like slice-of-life shows, comfy shows, and well, anything interesting! Butttt I try to watch everything nowadays with subs-off for "practice" lol. Same with reading manga (reading is easier than listening in another language anyways).

You can always lose yourself in a good book! As well as reading Japanese, (getting more into Japanese language light novels... and, well, novels,) I've always loved reading in English! I grew up on Warriors, Animorphs, Redwall, American Girl books, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, etc.... My mom also had a bunch of old Choose your own Adventure books! Essentially light novels before computers lol.
I like both fiction and nonfiction... Currently I'm in a book club. We read mostly classic novels. It's a good way to be social. I love escaping into a new world.
I love video games too! Ever since I was a kid, blah blah blah, you get it. The best Christmas gift ever was a Dialga and Palkia exclusive Nintendo DS.
As an adult I will usually focus on a specific game itself, rather than playing games to play games. Currently playing KINGDOM HEARTS on Steam... SO SO SO MUCH FUN!!!! *screams* .... Ask me about the games I've played. It's gonna usually be JRPGs (Tales of Symphonia / Vesperia , Pokemon games, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy, etc.) or comfy games (475+ hours in Animal Crossing: New Horizons during 2020, every Stardew Valley achievement sans one... there's another I'm forgetting too rn). Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland was the first game I 100%'d.
Oh yeah, and I'm trying to get more into JAPANESE light novels. I've played a lot of popular ones in English too. I want to play VNs with interesting plot... or ones with yaoi, lmfao. Let's go NITRO CHiRAL!!!! Kemonomimi ♡
Drawing gives me a feeling like no other. I get so absorbed. I'm very hands-on, so I like to do traditional art... Here's my art gallery!! I'm not really concerned with doing studies for now. I just draw what makes my brain happy and try to correct errors. But I want to do courses like draw a box or anatomy studies some time in the future.
A lovely hobby with unlimited creativity. Yarn is a moneypit, but the feeling you get after making something with your own hands is amazing. Here's my crochet zone... I'm still crocheting. Now it's experimental doll stuff, but I've made more cat sacks. And a jellyfish amigurumi.
Getting into the wonderful world of Asian Ball-Jointed Dolls. I have a veryyy lovely Mini Dollfie Dream. Also want some resin friends and actual BJDs in the future. Super Dollfie? YES! And other non-Volks friends.
I really want to bond with my dolls... want to get the most love out of them possible. Trying to learn how to sew and take pictures for MDD-chan's sake. Chestnut (1/6 Azone) is still alive, but he's naked next to my desk as an art reference. Doll zone here!
I try to workout at the Gym on a regular basis!!! Wellness section of my site here. It makes me feel good about my body when I use weights. I also like the feeling of soreness. My mind feels good when I go to the gym and work hard. I also enjoy casually hiking. The mountains and the sea clear the soul.
I don't think buying crap in of itself is actually a hobby! But my consooms are: anime figures, Copic markers, fancy yarn, books (both English and Japanese), doll crap, and stuffed animals. I try to be selective with the quality or interest... but I'm just having fun here! Don't wanna sell stuff as much as possible either, trying to keep stuff for life! I'll take room pictures someday.
I like Sanrio stuff. I've liked it for a while. Does anyone remember the mobile game where you made your own theme park? ANYWAYS, yeah, I'm a Sanrio fan. I like Cinnamoroll and Pochacco the best.
